Service Description

Aimed at children who are already confident and proficient on their bikes, ready to take their cycling skills to the next level. This session is aimed at riders who want to develop more advanced bike handling, improve their speed and control, and learn the skills needed to tackle more challenging riding situations and racing environments. Sessions will focus on advanced techniques such as cornering at speed, braking and accelerating effectively, riding technical sections, navigating obstacles, changing lines, riding on different surfaces, climbing and descending, maintaining control when riding close to other riders and making quick decisions while riding. We’ll also introduce and develop race-specific skills, including positioning, overtaking, defending a line, starting and accelerating from a standing or slow-speed start, and riding confidently as part of a group. If you're not sure where to race, ask one of the coaches after each session about information on upcoming races!
